Das Fèis Ìle 2024 steht vor der Tür! Vom 24. Mai bis zum 1. Juni wird Islay erneut zum Hotspot für Whisky-Enthusiasten. Sei bereit für eine unvergessliche Reise durch die Welt des Whiskys und entdecke, was das diesjährige Festival alles zu bieten hat! Hier bekommst du einen Vorgeschmack auf das, was dich erwartet.

Das Festival hat sich die letzten Jahre professionell aufgestellt und nicht nur per Facebook Events Live gestreamed, nein es gibt zwischenzeitlich auch einen professionellen Verkauf von Tickets direkt auf der Webseite. Und auch sämtliche Updates zu den Events bekommst Du auf der Programmseite.

- zum Skies: „With its luminously deep amber hue and intense fruity notes, this unique release has been finished in a heavily charred Amoroso-seasoned American Oak hogshead cask. Only a limited number of bottles will be available at Fèis Ìle and each one will be personally hand filled and signed by Distillery Manager, Jordan Paisley.“
- zum 10yo: „The dedicated team at the distillery utilised malt with higher peating levels than usual and matured its resulting liquid in refill, heavily charred and first fill ex-bourbon American oak hogshead casks to create this powerful expression. Revealing savoury maritime nuances of iodine and dry seaweed with an underlying strong smoke, this complex bottle remains true to the beloved Lagavulin profile cherished by fans.“
Details zum Musik Programm: „Headlining Lagavulin Day is the seven-piece, multi-award-winning Scottish supergroup, Mànran. At the forefront of Scottish traditional music for over a decade, Mànran’s distinctive and dynamic sound has captivated audiences worldwide, and is sure to get Fèis Ìle visitors on the dancefloor. Lagavulin Day will also feature the electrifying sounds of Rhuvaal. Known for fusing traditional Celtic music and contemporary influences, Rhuvaal promises to deliver an exhilarating set, followed by a show from Islay trad band, Donnie McKinnon & Friends.“

Alongside Caol Ila and Lagavulin bars serving up whisky cocktails, drams and non-alcoholic options, artisan coffee roasters, Machina Coffee will also be on-site with a range of coffee and hot drinks.“
