PR: Auktion Ainnir Flasche 1 bei Nc’nean mit Weltrekord
Wie berichtet wurden die ersten zehn Flaschen der allerersten Abfüllung Ainnir für wohltätige Zwecke versteigert. 92.500.- GBP sind auf der Auktion zusammengekommen. Die Ainnir Flasche 1 wurde für 41.004.- GBP verkauft! Das entspricht dem 4-fachen Höchstgebot des bisherigen Rekordhalters für eine erste Flasche.

Da sagt noch mal einer, dass junger Whisky und die Erstausgaben völlig überteuert sind. Da bin ich mit meiner Flasche des Ainnir doch günstig weggekommen. Ich denke hier haben sich einige für den guten Zweck eingesetzt. Sehr schön!

A new world record
It’s been another whirlwind of a week here at Nc’nean. As many of you know, last Friday we put the first 10 bottles ever filled at the distillery up for auction with Whisky Auctioneer, with all the proceeds going to five different charities which we think do a great job at making the world a better place. Yesterday the auction came to a close, and together we have raised £92,500 for our chosen causes. It has been totally astonishing. We could only have imagined that the auction might go this well, and we never anticipated that bottle #1 would break the world record. Selling for £41,004, this is four times higher than the previous record of around £10,000 for a 1st bottling from a new distillery.
The five charities
As well as the funds raised from the auction, Whisky Auctioneer are also donating the equivalent of their fees for the auction to the same 5 amazing causes. This means that the total sum of £92,500 will be split equally between:
