S&C – Tomatin
- Nase: Marzipan, Rosenöl, andere florale und liebliche Noten, insgesamt blumig und mild und doch intensiv
- Geschmack: Mehr Marzipan, auch im Geschmack durch die Fassstärke sehr intensiv, ohne aufdringlich zu sein, nussig und süß
- Abgang: Mandeleis und Vanille im langen, mundfüllenden Abgang
Caol Ila

Offizielle Tasting Notes
- COLOUR: Polished Gold
- NOSE: Clean smoke that has softened and evolved over the many years of maturation into a subtle notes of concrete dust or perhaps ancient catacombs. Mineralic like a standing in a limestone quarry. Aromas like those found in an old book shop give way to exotic fruits such as mango and papaya.
- PALATE: Surprisingly and pleasantly sweeter than expected, like smoked honey nectar. Honeysuckle, sweetened jasmine, nettle tea can be found alongside the reoccurring mangos and papaya.
- FINISH: A lingering earthy and green smoke like burnt pine.

Sweet and spicy, with notes of warm vanilla, citrus zest and fiery ginger, each bottle from this 13 year old single cask has been hand-signed by David. We expect demand for SALTIRE EDITION 1 to exceed the small number of bottles available so, to make things fair, we are running a ballot for the chance to buy a bottle – it means no one will be in pole position! This smooth and full-bodied 13 year old single malt whisky delivers fruity notes of caramelised mango and sun-ripened lemon peel, balanced by warming hints of root ginger, silky vanilla and spicy cinnamon.
