PR: Glasgow Distillery Casks – letzte 40 Fässer für Privatpersonen

Erstmals werden von der Glasgow Distillery bereits gereifte Lagerbestände an Privatpersonen verkauft. Eine Auswahl von 40 Glasgow Distillery Casks gab es ursprünglich von denen aktuell noch ungefähr die Hälfte verfügbar sind. Je nach Fass und Inhalt werden dafür Preise zwischen 5.000.- und 12.000.- GBP aufgerufen. Da keine weiteren neuen Fässer der Glasgow Distillery verkauft werden, ist dies wohl eine der letzten Möglichkeiten.

Die Pressemitteilung zu den Glasgow Distillery Casks ist ein wenig liegengeblieben, deshalb sind jetzt auch schon einige Fässer verkauft. Ich kann den Markt nicht einschätzen, aber im Vergleich zu dem 1770 Cask Program bei dem ich mir ein eigenes Fass bei der Destillerie gekauft habe, haben die Preise nach Reifung deutlich angezogen. OWN A CASK OF GLASGOW DISTILLERY SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

In a Glasgow Distillery first, we are delighted to announce that a selection of forty casks from our cask maturation portfolio have been released for private purchase.

The announcement comes alongside the confirmation that we will no longer be accepting new members into our prestigious Cask Club programme; a scheme that previously allowed members of the public to purchase a cask of newly laid down spirit. This means that this offer is the last chance for people to own their own cask of Glasgow Distillery Single Malt Whisky.

These casks have been carefully hand-selected from our maturing stocks, providing whisky enthusiasts an exciting opportunity to secure a piece of Glasgow Distillery history.

Among the forty casks made available is a selection of unpeated, triple distilled and peated casks from across the years, making each cask truly unique. 

Each cask is available on a first-come-first-served basis and is able to be reserved via the Distillery’s website.
