Video: Islay auf CBS 60 Minutes

Wer es noch nicht mitbekommen oder noch nicht gesehen hat, sollte sich das stimmungsvolle Video der CBS anschauen. Gedreht wurde unter anderem beim Feis Ile letztes Jahr (z.B. die Masterclass von Jim McEwan).

60 Minutes is constantly on the lookout for places we’ve never been before. So when our late colleague Bob Simon heard about a magical place in the Hebrides Islands off the coast of Scotland, known for making some of the great whiskies in the world, well, the story spoke to him.“

Ardbeg, Bowmore, Bruichladdich, Bunnahabain, Caol Ila, Kilchoman, Lagavulin und Laphroaig wurden von dem CBS Team besucht. Der Korrespondent Bob Simon hat den Film leider nicht mehr selber fertigstellen können. RIP.

Jim McEwan von Bruichladdich wird dieses Jahr in den Ruhestand gehen. Er spielt eine wichtige Rolle in dem Film. Für alle, die sich auf das diesjährige Feis Ile einstimmen wollen – sehenswert!
